TANNUKI - Sato Running Bib - Khaki

We have created a running bib as a layering item.

We have devised the design and materials to create an original product that can be used for both running and casual occasions.

We have taken the sporty style of the bibs used by soccer teams during practice, and developed it into a product with two vectors, one for running and the other for casual wear.

The relaxed fit goes well with a variety of styling styles. We believe that by adding this running bib to your own coordinate, you will instantly create a loose, relaxed mood.

It is based on the shape of the bibs, which are big silhouettes to begin with. The collar is too wide in the original bib shape, and depending on what is worn underneath, it may be difficult to achieve the right balance, so a narrower (but still slightly larger) collar is used. In other words, it is not too big, but just big enough to show the inner lining.

It is a big silhouette vest with a little extra space on the sides, but this extra space prevents the vest from becoming childish or magician-like, which is often the case when wearing a vest, and leads to a more relaxed, adult look.

The material is made of Toray's Primeflex yarn, which has a fawn structure that drapes beautifully. Although it is 100% polyester, it is a comfortable material with firm stretch. The feel and texture have a natural atmosphere reminiscent of cotton.

The name “Sato~” of TANNUKI is used not only for running scenes but also for products that blend in with various scenes, and among them, it is an exceptionally good match for casual scenes. It can be worn with wide silhouette pants to run errands during the day or go on a trip. Then in the evening, switch to shorts and go out for a run, and this product fits well with both styles.

Since it is a layering item, there is no need to wear it. You can run without it. However, we hope that you will enjoy running and your daily life in the style that you dare to wear it.

Design

This is a vest-type layering item based on a bib design with a firm horizontal width. It can be worn with technical sports innerwear or casual innerwear, both of which wrap loosely around your body and bring your styling together.

When running, the lack of sleeves also means you won't feel stressed when swinging your arms. Although it is a bib base, the material is a solid deer fabric, which greatly reduces the sporty impression of bibs. The image is of enjoying running wearing a casual vest. The underarms are wide open, allowing you to enjoy layering with inner items worn inside. The large underarm openings are also highly effective for ventilation, and the construction allows a lot of airflow.

As noted below, the actual length of the garment may seem shorter than usual (62cm for size M). This is because the collar is wider than that of a regular T-shirt. The back neckline is also lower than usual, so the actual measurement of the length will be shorter. When actually worn, the length from the so-called neck point (the part at the base of the neck, where the collar of the T-shirt is often adjusted) is in accordance with the normal length, so you may not feel the length is too short. It may be a little difficult to understand, but to summarize, we hope you understand that the length is not too short, while the inner items inside are moderately visible.

Material

100% polyester

The material used is Toray's Primeflex, a 100% polyester material with elasticity in the thread itself.

While there are cases where polyurethane material is mixed in to achieve elasticity, the 100% polyester material used for this material is lighter than polyurethane blended material. Polyester is also less likely to react with other materials and offers material stability.

It is also water absorbent, quick drying, and UV resistant (UPF 50+), both of which are necessary for outdoor activities.

Functionality for running is also important, but the natural touch of the pique texture is what makes it a very distinctive material. Pique is one of the types of fabrics with an uneven surface, which reduces the area in contact with the skin and gives it a light and cool feel. It also has the effect of maintaining the silhouette with its slightly firm texture.

The drape of the material is also very nice.
